Sales Manager

Our client is looking for a Sales Lead to join their team. This position is responsible for customer lead, accurate build file delivery, file management, customer expectation management, confirmation of customer satisfaction and final payment.  This position is of great importance and has a high degree of potential to both positively and negatively impact the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and qualifying leads in CRM and company spreadsheets from initial contact to conclusion of project.  
  • Responsible for communication with all leads at the appropriate time is the number one priority.  To be clear, management of all leads is the responsibility of this position.  
  • Responsible for scheduling and conducting in-home sales consultations with prospective clients to establish their options and budget. Must be able to prioritize all potential leads, without bias to scope of project. 
  • Ability to survey the project area by measuring existing structures, property lines, and taking necessary elevations of yard and home, etc..  
  • Designs the ideal pool and outdoor space for customers and estimates the cost accurately while accurately mitigating elevations, drainage, soil conditions, utilities, flora, etc..
  • Arranges follow up design meetings with clients to conduct a company sales presentation, soft closes by presenting the customized design and budget to customers.
  • Recommends selections, materials, features, and equipment to customers with educated information, brochures/documents, and correct pricing.
  • Informs the customer on the expectations of the pool building process and establishes a timeline, advising of any potential project delays.
  • Responsible for collection of executed agreements with customer signature, date and deposit.
  • Responsible for receiving approval by the manager on all executed contracts and additional supplemental documents.
  • Responsible for all technical drawings and documentation. This includes accurate drawings allowing Pools & More and its subcontractors to replicate the proposed design.  This includes, but is not limited to, manufacturers documentation, work instructions, consideration of elevations, drainage and access, details of structures, appropriately chosen materials, appropriately chosen equipment, consideration of hydraulics, future structures, utilities, etc.
  • Complete and Accurate files created within 72 hours of contract signing.
  • Responsible for all permitting and engineering.
  • Should the project be designed with a new component or feature that PMI has not had the opportunity to master - the designer will be responsible for leading the element from start to finish.  This includes but is not limited to, proper design, engineering, estimating, project management and meeting the customers expectations.
  • Coordinate meeting with project manager prior to start of project, to ensure transition from sale to construction is seamless.
  • Be present to walk customers and construction managers through job phases and any time there are questions or clarification needed.
  • Supports the project manager by making progress visits to the construction site during the build to maintain a relationship with clients and ensure the project is being delivered as intended.  Specifically when stone work, waterfalls, spillways and other subjective phases require management of design and customer expectations.
  • Collaborates with the Construction Manager to collect stage payments from customers as the project progresses.
  • Maintains a warm and professional relationship with clients after the project is completed to represent the company well and acquire referrals.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Clients expectations were met after the project is complete.  To be clear, this means proper communication and gathering of information, both good and bad, and presented to management, always assuring the customer that proper actions will be taken. 
  • Responsible for the showroom where material selections are kept, including ordering of brochures and physical material samples.
  • Responsible for materials selections needed on ALL projects sold, including those sold by others at Pools and More when necessary.
  • Responsible for co-managing marketing efforts to include planning, execution, and budgeting.
  • Responsible for reviewing and improving project management (i.e. reviewing finished jobs, suggesting improvements for future projects.)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of prior swimming pool sales experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Pool Studio, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Working knowledge of CRM software
  • Dependable transportation with the ability to pass background and drug testing
  • Motivated, positive team player who upholds company core values
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize, multitask, make decisions, exhibit professionalism, and maintain customer relationships
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong focus on attention to detail
  • Must be willing and committed to putting in the necessary time to be successful
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Strong negotiating skills to persuade and influence others
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills
