Our client is looking for a Pool Designer to join their team. The Pool Designer is responsible for customer lead, accurate build file delivery, file management, customer expectation management, confirmation of customer satisfaction and final payment. This position will have a big impact on the company's success.
Responsibilities:
- Design pool and outdoor space for customers and estimate the cost accurately while accurately mitigating elevations, drainage, soil conditions, utilities, flora, etc..
- Schedule and conduct in-home sales consultations with prospective clients to establish their options and budget. Must be able to prioritize all potential leads, without bias to scope of project.
- Arrange follow-up design meetings with clients to conduct a company sales presentation, soft closes by presenting the customized design and budget to customers.
- Recommend selections, materials, features, and equipment to customers with educated information, brochures/documents, and correct pricing.
- Inform customers on the expectations of the pool building process and establish a timeline, advising of any potential project delays.
- Collect executed agreements with customer signature, date and deposit.
- Responsible for all technical drawings and documentation.
- Manage and qualify leads in CRM and company spreadsheets from initial contact to conclusion of project.
- Communicate with all leads at the appropriate time. Management of all leads is the responsibility of this position.
- Responsible for all permitting and engineering.
- Coordinate meeting with project manager prior to start of project, to ensure transition from sale to construction is seamless.
- Be present to walk customers and construction managers through job phases and any time there are questions or clarification needed.
- Supports the project manager by making progress visits to the construction site during the build to maintain a relationship with clients and ensure the project is being delivered as intended. Specifically when stone work, waterfalls, spillways and other subjective phases require management of design and customer expectations.
- Collaborates with the Construction Manager to collect stage payments from customers as the project progresses.
- Maintains a warm and professional relationship with clients after the project is completed to represent the company well and acquire referrals.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of prior swimming pool design experience required
- Strong knowledge of Pool Studio, Microsoft Office, and Excel
- Ability to survey the project area by measuring existing structures, property lines, and taking necessary elevations of yard and home, etc..
- Working knowledge of CRM software
- Dependable transportation with the ability to pass background and drug testing
