Analytics Engineer
We're looking for an Analytics Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in the West Houston/Katy, TX area. The Analytics Engineer will be part of the Data Analytics group but will be aligned with a business unit.
Responsibilities:
Work with business unit stakeholders to understand their data analytics needs
Develop requirements for data analytics solution
Crafting the solutions that will enable the business unit to utilize their data as they desire
Build a two-year road map for that for that work product
Qualifications:
3 plus years of experience in data analytics
Domain knowledge in one of the following; Finance, Legal, HR, Supply Chain, Merch, or Retail Store
Experience using Power BI and Looker or Cube
Strong understanding of BigQuery
familiarity with DBT
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Data Mesh Architecture
Work experience in a decentralized environment, following a standard data governance
